A quick primer if you're new to automated trading on MetaTrader 5 — what an Expert Advisor actually is, and how EA Admin's products fit in.
An MT5 Expert Advisor (EA) is a program that runs inside MetaTrader 5 and can analyze price action and place or manage trades automatically, according to a defined set of rules — without you clicking every ticket yourself. Both KairoX and AG Prime are MT5 Expert Advisors: compiled software files (.ex5) you attach to a chart, not manual signals you execute by hand.
Automated trading software — sometimes called a trading robot or trading bot — watches live price data continuously and opens, manages, or closes trades based on the conditions it was built for, rather than requiring a trader to sit at the screen. This can reduce manual workload and remove hesitation in following a defined process, but it does not remove market risk: an automated MT5 EA can still lose money, and past behavior is never a guarantee of future results.
MT5 Expert Advisors are distributed in different ways — some free, some sold as a one-time purchase, some as a subscription. EA Admin uses two paths: a paid lifetime license for KairoX ($150) or AG Prime ($350), with a one-time payment and unlimited eligible MT5 accounts, or Free Access, obtained by registering a live account through our official Vantage partnership and going through EA Admin's account-review and activation process. Free Access is not automatic for every visitor — it's a real process with real requirements, detailed in the Free Access section below.
A trend-following EA looks for a market that is moving persistently in one direction and tries to participate in that direction rather than against it, instead of trying to predict reversals. KairoX and AG Prime include trend detection: when a trend is confirmed, they trade with it directly rather than running their default straddle entry — see "How KairoX & AG Prime Trade" below for the actual mechanism.
Both KairoX and AG Prime are currently built to trade XAUUSD (Gold) only — not a general-purpose multi-symbol EA. If you're specifically looking for a gold trading EA or an XAUUSD Expert Advisor for MT5, that's the actual, supported use case here, tuned for gold's typical volatility rather than adapted from a forex-pair EA.
The EA runs on a computer or server — your phone is for monitoring.
KairoX and AG Prime run inside MT5 on a Windows computer, or on a VPS (a server that stays on 24/5). A VPS is recommended so the bot keeps trading even when your computer is off.
Use the MT5 mobile app on your phone to watch your account — open trades, balance, and how much the bot has made. The bot itself cannot run on a phone, only be monitored from one.
One repeating cycle. No prediction. Pure structure.
AG PRIMEWhen flat and inside the trading window, the EA places a BuyStop above price and a SellStop below price at the same time.
KAIROXWhen flat and inside the trading window, the EA places a Buy Limit below price and a Sell Limit above price at the same time.
Whichever order fills first wins. The opposite pending order is removed instantly, so you never end up locked between two opposing positions.
If price moves against the open side, the EA adds positions on an adaptive schedule with controlled sizing. A strict maximum number of trades is always enforced.
Take profit is calculated from the basket as a whole and recalculated as it grows. When it hits, every position on that side closes together.
After a basket closes, the cycle starts over: a fresh straddle is placed around the new market price.
During the daily broker rollover window the EA pauses new entries so the spread spike does not cause false triggers. Open baskets stay managed and close normally.
Built around discipline, not hype.
A pending order above and below the market at once. The first side that triggers wins; the other is cancelled instantly.
When price moves against the open side, the EA adds positions at adaptive distances with controlled sizing.
When a trend is confirmed as buys or sells, the EAs trade with the trend — deactivating the straddle orders until conditions call for one again.
Take profit is set from the basket breakeven and recalculated as the grid expands. When it hits, the whole side closes together.
New entries pause automatically during the daily broker rollover window, so the session spread spike does not cause false breakouts. Configurable in settings.
Safe presets are already configured inside the EA out of the box. To increase risk, you simply increase the lot size.
The EAs detect and pause before or after high-impact news.
Each license key is bound to one MT5 account number. Run on multiple accounts by activating a key for each one.

Always use the .set file provided for your specific account size. For example:
Do not randomly use another account's configuration. The supplied set file is intended to provide the appropriate starting configuration for that account size.
Open MetaTrader 5. Go to: File → Open Data Folder, then open MQL5 → Experts. Place your EA .ex5 file inside the Experts folder.
After placing the file:
Your EA should now appear under Expert Advisors.
This step is very important. The EA needs permission to communicate with its online license server.
In MetaTrader 5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → enable "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" → add this URL to the list:
Make sure you enter the URL correctly. Do not add spaces before or after the URL. Click OK — the EA can now make the required WebRequest connection to the server.
Open the symbol/chart where you want to run the EA. From the Navigator: Expert Advisors → select your EA → drag it onto the chart. When the EA settings window appears, check the required permissions and settings.
Make sure "Allow Algo Trading" is enabled where applicable, and the main MT5 Algo Trading/AutoTrading button is enabled.
The timeframe you use for the EA is important. Attach it to the chart matching your configuration — M5, M15, or H1 — using the corresponding set/configuration.
Do not attach the EA to one timeframe while deliberately configuring it for another, unless the EA's instructions specifically allow that setup.
After attaching the EA: open the EA's Inputs settings, select Load, locate the .set file provided to you, select the correct set file for your account, load the configuration, and check the settings before clicking OK.
The set file contains the recommended configuration intended for that particular account setup.
The supplied set file or EA contains the recommended starting configuration. You may adjust the Lot Size manually if you understand the effect changing it can have on margin usage, exposure, drawdown, number of trades, and potential gains or losses.
If you change the lot size, you are changing the EA's risk/exposure from the supplied configuration. Do not increase the lot size simply because the account is profitable. Only use a lot size you understand and are comfortable with. (Inbuilt lot size recommended.)
We may provide different configurations depending on the trading account. The configuration intended for a smaller account may use different settings from one designed for a larger account.
Use the set file supplied for your account. Do not assume a configuration designed for a larger account is suitable for a smaller account.
Look at the top-right corner of your MT5 chart to confirm the EA is running. Also check Toolbox → Experts and Toolbox → Journal for messages related to initialization, connection, license verification, trading permissions, configuration, and errors.
If you see an error, do not repeatedly restart the EA. First identify the error and contact EA Admin support if necessary.
The EA uses an online licensing system. The MT5 WebRequest permission allows the EA to communicate with the required online server, which then checks your EA account/license information.
Make sure: your MT5 account number is correct, your EA license has been activated, your MT5 terminal has internet access, the license-server URL was entered correctly, WebRequest permission is enabled, and MT5 is not being blocked by your network/firewall.
If the EA reports a license problem, contact EA Admin support.
Once you have added https://ea-adminlicense.xyz to the MT5 WebRequest list, leave it there while using the EA. Removing the URL may prevent the EA from communicating with the online licensing system.
Once everything has been configured, confirm: the correct trading account, the correct symbol, the correct timeframe, the correct .set file, the lot size, Algo Trading enabled, WebRequest permission enabled, the license is active, and the EA shows no critical errors. Then allow the EA to operate.
Avoid repeatedly changing settings while the EA is running unless you understand what the change does.
If you want the EA to continue operating when your phone or computer is offline, use a reliable Windows VPS running MT5 with a stable connection, MT5 running continuously, the EA attached to the correct chart, Algo Trading enabled, and the required WebRequest URL configured.
Do not close MT5 or shut down the VPS while expecting the EA to continue trading.
Account size: choose the set file provided for your account size.
Timeframe: use the timeframe intended for that configuration (M5 or M15 recommended).
Lot size: keep the supplied lot size unless you understand the consequences of changing it (0.01 recommended).
Symbol: the EA only trades on XAUUSD / Gold pairs.
You do not need to modify every setting inside the EA. It comes with a prepared configuration. Unless EA Admin specifically instructs you to change something, avoid changing advanced parameters such as entry logic, trade management, basket parameters, risk controls, protection parameters, internal filters, or advanced execution settings.
Changing advanced settings can produce behavior different from the intended configuration.
An EA not opening a trade does not necessarily mean it is broken — it may be paused by design, or a news window may be active. Check the Experts tab for the message explaining why the EA isn't opening a trade.
Before contacting support, check: is Algo Trading enabled, is the EA attached to the correct chart, is the correct timeframe being used, is the correct .set file loaded, is the correct symbol being used, is the license active, is the WebRequest URL correctly added, does MT5 have internet access, are there errors in the Experts or Journal tab, and is the market currently suitable for the EA's trading conditions?
Do not continuously remove and reinstall the EA. If everything looks fine, delete the chart and reopen it, then reattach the EA again.
If you experience a problem with installation, licensing, configuration, or EA operation, contact EA Admin support.
When contacting support, provide: your MT5 account number, your registered name, EA name (KairoX or AG Prime), symbol, timeframe, account balance/equity, a screenshot of the EA settings, and a screenshot of the Experts/Journal error if applicable.
How MT5 Expert Advisor licensing actually works for KairoX and AG Prime.
The official license server is ea-adminlicense.xyz. Licenses are account-specific — each key is tied to one MT5 account number. Purchasing lifetime, unlimited-account access does not mean the EA is automatically activated on every account you own; each account still needs its details submitted and reviewed before activation.
EA files and license keys are for your own use only and must not be shared or redistributed. We do not provide MQL5 source code with any purchase or Free Access activation — you receive the compiled EA files (.ex5) and a license key.
